Finally finished!!
Well the advent calender is finally finished......nearly! Just have to get a pic of the 3 kids on Christmas day to scrapbook for the centre insert. The kids are going to love this for years to come and i'm pretty proud of the finished product too! Here it is
This week i will have a busy week organising things around the house ready for Christmas at our place this year. Cant believe 2010 is nearly over, what a hectic year! I wonder what 2011 will bring for us all- if you have any hopes or dreams for the new year please share them with us in the comment section.

Not sure if you are familiar with Montessori, but it is a wooden alphabet in lower case that is stored in a wooden box with pigeon holes like your advent calendar. Montessori products are expensive and I want to make a replica set up for my son but just can't figure out how to make the storage box. Where did you get the pattern from would love to know!

Hi Lizardman, i got a kit from Kaiser craft, then just had to build it and decorate. Check out their website as they make lots of wooden products. I just got a kit for a desk organiser which is the same type of thing. I got the kits from a market but i know spotlight have some of their range.
